But what is Złombol about?

Złombol is an extraordinary journey into the uncharted, embarked upon in venerable automobiles from the era of communism. We are undaunted by steep inclines, soaring hills, sweltering heat, and fatigue, as well as the inevitable mechanical repairs under the harshest conditions. But paramount to our adventure is the noble cause at its heart! We rally to raise funds and donate every cent to support children in orphanages. Our mission is to enrich their lives, whether it’s through toys, home essentials, educational materials, or whatever else is needed to realize their dreams. We’re investing in their future, expanding their worldviews with educational trips and holiday experiences. Our aim is to provide them with a leg up towards a brighter future, through opportunities for educational courses and extracurricular activities. Our approach is personal; we listen and respond to their individual needs.

CHARITY

Every time we ask ourselves „why are we doing this” and what fuels us, we clearly answer – CHARITY! We drive for children from orphanages! Of course, we are passionate about Złombol vehicles and our amazing journeys and adventures, but at the end of the day, the main drive behind organizing Złombol is the desire to help. The joy of helping and the joy of working with people who feel the same as we do – as you often emphasize, „the more of you there are, the more money is raised and that is what’s most important.” We believe that it’s not the quantity but the quality of involvement that counts. Teams can collect 60% and even 100% more than the minimum required. Following this path, we focus more on charity than just spurring a big event. We analyzed how collections from participants shaped up in recent years, and more than half raised 900 PLN more than the set minimum.

The fundraising goal remains unchanged, and we plan to allocate the entire amount collected to:

psychological support; individual therapies, group therapies, supervision for caregivers, independent living accommodations in Krakow

trips including: excursions, camps, colonies, holidays, club outings (tailored to individual interests)

fulfilling „custom-made” dreams; driving license courses, language courses, sports equipment, subscriptions to favorite magazines, gifts for significant occasions… This point offers many possibilities and much joy, certainly including the ability to make decisions for oneself.

Our primary mission is to raise funds for children from orphanages, providing them with psychological support, opportunities for fun and learning, and assistance in transitioning to independent living.

Adventure and Challenge: The rally is designed to test your resilience and adaptability. You will navigate through diverse terrains and possibly face mechanical challenges, all in vehicles that are as full of character as they are of years.
Community and Teamwork: You will meet and collaborate with a diverse group of participants who share a common goal of support and charity. The connections you make here can last a lifetime.
Impact: Every mile you cover, every challenge you overcome, contributes directly to our fundraising goals. Your participation goes beyond the rally; it extends into the lives of the children we support.

Travel Essentials: Pack smartly. Bring tools, spare parts, and essentials for both your car and personal comfort. Prepare for all weather conditions and ensure you have navigation tools.

Safety and Support: While the rally is about embracing the unexpected, your safety remains our top priority. We do not provide on-route mechanical support or concierge services, so independence and problem-solving are key. However, in case of emergencies, we will always strive to assist you to the best of our capabilities.
